Hey PGMers,

If you are bored and want to check out a new website try Evolution of Golf . I started it along with another assistant in my home state. I have already brought on a UCCS Pgm Student to help with content.

If you guys want to promote yourselves feel free to register and send me an email with a golf tip or article along with your contact information or your courses website. I will be more than happy to include the contact informatoin for you at the end of your article.

Website Update

Fellow PGM Students,

I wanted to give an update to everyone regarding the  PGMSS website. After a couple of hiccups, we had a couple of meeting to try and get everything smoothed over.

For the next week the site will be in a “Beta or Testing Phase.” So please use it like normal and report anything that isn’t working to me! We are trying to have it as foolproof and stable as possible.

Problems in the past have been:

1. Unable to login
2. Swinglab reservation not working (Fixed)
3.Tournament Signup not working (Will be up and running by next week)

Swinglab Reservation
If you would like to use the PGM Swinglab, either login to www.uccspgm.org and click Swinglab Reservation, or you can access it by going to www.swinglab.uccspgm.org.

After arriving at the swinglab site you can either

register underneath the login box

(this is separate from your uccspgm.org account)

or use these credentials:

Email Address: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Password: uccspgm

How to make a reservation:

1.       Login to www.swinglab.uccspgm.org

2.       Click on Bookings (on the left side menu)

3.       Then find the day you want to reserve and click the corresponding time.

4.       Fill in the Summary Box of who will be using the swinglab.

5.       Click save and you are done!

If you log into www.uccspgm.org you can skip step 2.

Tournament Signup

I will email everyone when we have tournament signup setup and ready to start taking registrations. It should be ready to go by next week!

Reminder

Thanks again and please remember if you have any problems with either of the sites email me describing the problem! Thanks

Tournament News/Match Play

PGM Students,

I just want to apologize for missing the PGMSS Meeting last week.  I know Tristen did a great job covering for me.  If you didn’t attend the meeting and/or you didn’t receive a Tournament Handbook for this semester you should really get one, they are on Ashley’s desk in the PGM Office.  There is a lot of important information in there that you are responsible for knowing.

Also, Matt Hauth and Travis Gaddie have done a great job on the website.  ALL TOURNAMENT SIGN UP is now on the website www.uccspgm.org.  Once you are there you need to sign in.  Then go to the top of the screen to Tournaments, a drop box will come down and click on Registration.  It’s pretty straight forward after that.  After you have clicked on an event you can scroll to the bottom of the page and see who else is signed up for that event.  To sign up click Register.  This sends an email to myself and you.  If you wish to withdraw from a tournament, go to the event the same way as you would to sign up, but instead of Register, click Cancel.  Please note that the Registration Deadline on the website is a week prior to each event.  This means that on the Registration Deadline date the link will close for that event and you will not be able to Register or Withdraw from that event.  I really encourage all of you to sign up early for tournaments (it makes my job a lot easier)  and also to just check out the website.  Again Matt and Travis have done a phenomenal job with this and deserve recognition for their hard work.

Click Here to Download the Tournament Handbook

I hope I have explained everything well.  If you have any questions please never hesitate to contact me This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or on my cell (802)274-8121.

Whittney Coon has done a great job putting together this Semester’s Match Play. Also if you are at school and want to check out who you are playing there is a copy of the bracket in the PGM Resource Room.  You have until Sunday, March 2 to play your match and email Whittney the results at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
